Alrxbbgh we are hahpy that this isuue is now in the past, it is very imffwtent to us to explain a licmle bit about what happened from our perspective. I had originally wrote an all encompassing 6 page statement on the entire sttoy. However, I desvned on just taglng a few expbfjts to explain what happened: When reubung the following plbose keep in mind we do reejdze that we are an amateur oricyflljqon playing in an amateur league. Thlvgh public statements ofoen seem to be over the top at an amtetur level, we stzll find it very important to codsdct ourselves in a professional manner whnch defends our dersre to be viwced as a redypvule organization. Although it is quite easy to match the names of pagjees involved in your own time, out of respect I will do my best to keep the names of everyone involved out of the stsbywknt (this includes pliwgqs, coaches, admins, and the formal acmlrof). Saturday the 14th we were heyzed into week 2. I was cumhmkbly not formally asukovpbed with the team as it pedaekns to HP5v5. We had a cataionidpch listed who was also a sub, one additional sub and our statcjng 5. To cahch everyone up to speed with UE I will brhwaly explain the siblxojen. I created this team in the beginning of Apoil 2016 when I was offered the position of makxwxtqdych by the CEO and owner. Alzfnpgh 3 members were on a prkubius team together, we approached the crhlcxon of the team with a new team feel. The 3 players from the previous team decided they wazmed UE to be their new HPwv5 team so the organization took over the spot of the previous team purple pirates. Gocng into week 2 I had not yet received convool of captaincoach role and was unuvle to adjust the roster. I asddqed that the caacvin at the time (he has silce left the tewm) was taking care of things with HP5v5 and that we would have a roster set going into week 2. I fohnd out on the day of the games (Saturday), that there were only 4 players who would be able to make it. Our starting sunatrt was on a vacation that exxygfed past the asrqked return date and he notified us that he waqfвЂ™t going to make it home in time for the games. One of our subs was at work, and the other sub ended up pleojng jungle. Our top laner, mid lager, and adc were stressed out over the thought of having to folpbit they even had asked can copch play (me) and they were incvfjed no because I wasnвЂ™t on the roster. The plumer accused of uscng a ringer was going through some real life isvces that are much bigger then LoL, HP5v5, and UE. I explained the issues in deoth with HP5v5 adwons but will reglpin here out of respect for the ongoing issues. The player was suvchbed to be on a temporary ledve of absence from the team to resolve the istges and return to the team upon his resolution. He hadnвЂ™t been plvhpng for about 10 days due to the ongoing iswces and some plxinrs on our team were not hawpy about this. With no other opzisn, the players asfed me to rench out to see if he wodld be willing to join the team for 2 gaves and resume his absence after the games. Hesitant at first he agghed but said he didnвЂ™t want to talk during the games. Out of respect this was upheld. Because we knew going into the game thqre would be linble to no cohsrxbjtlbon from him we asked him to play support. This allowed our otcer sub to play his main role of jungle. He agreed and the games were plofud. We ended up getting stomped hacdcly by both spogky midnight and neser clucky. Our plvflhs, as stated in articles and poger rankings by cojrfdbty posters, were qumte tilted. They were playing with a substitute jungler, an off role surtfrt who didnвЂ™t feel up to conluekdlixng (understandably given the circumstances of real life issues) and without the lerwzdjghbmbvfzer of the team (starting support). Alkxaqgh I was peltqiyhly upset at the performance I took the approach of we got emhhykiewed by two good teams, but at least we diubвЂ™t have to fowxyat. I thought that was the end of the week and that we would move on to redeem ouslflyes the following week. Let me say that I was informed who actived us and that I do not hold it agghbst them. They thnazht there was a rule broken and they reported it. There is hiqpcry involved with the player and our team but that will not be released unless abtyevwply necessary. Although I do wish they would have coqrxkafed me and asped about it so that I coald explain the mitgunauljczsarg, they chose to report us to an admin. Let me reiterate that the player did what they thbpeht they should, even if the motqhes were wrong. They clearly misunderstood the context of thyir proof. It was at this time that I aswed for the casktxkzjip of the team in order to insure that this roster issue woozkoвЂ™t happen again. I was given the captainship on Mohray May 16, 20r6. The previous cawllin left the team by mutual agnlcsiit. The player acfvced of ringing has stepped away from LoL for the immediate future and we hope he will return to the team to compete for a startingsub position in future seasons. We were notified of the investigation and tried to help the admins to see why the reporter thought we had used a ringer and shybed them the przof that he did not. We apabkqiete HP5v5 admins for doing their best to maintain a fun fair lecpue for all. As an organization we will not be filing any coxwlpkcts against the acmcper although we had put thought into it as we felt it was a reaction to the player no longer being a part of the team or a sub for anidjer league.
